Looking down I was surprised to see my basket.

The magic balloon by James
ONE
DAY IN SYDNEY A SECRET OPERATON FOR THE GOVERNMENT WAS MAKING A MAGIC BALLOON
THAT COULD CARRY ANYTHING.
ALL
OF A SUDDEN THERE WAS A CRACK, THE
MAGIC BALLOON HAD DISAPPEARED! ONE AFTERNOON A BOY WENT ON A BALLOON
RIDE. THE NEXT MINUTE LOOKING DOWN THERE WAS A MYSTERIOUS BALLOON HEADED FOR ME
LIKE A ROCKET. ALSO WHEN I GRABBED THE ROPE I FELT LIKE I WAS IN HEAVEN.
Europe by Millie W and Mary
Wednesday... my favourite day of the week gymnastics, woodwork, lunch! Not
that I don’t have lunch every day.
It all happened on Wednesday, the first day of me going to Europa
(gymnastics centre). We pulled up and looked up at the gigantic building above
us. I got out the car and slowly walked towards the building but the excitement
in me could not wait so I ran ahead.
We checked in and went to 3rd floor looking down I was surprised to see a
hot air balloon hurdling towards the building. I screamed in horror thinking how am I going to
escape?
The hospital bed by Heather
Saturday 16th
May 2002
Dear Diary,
I’m lying limp, in my smelly bed, in a stuffy hospital and
it’s 11pm, but you don’t want to know that, you want to know how I got
there.
Zooming away from
the livid police I saw a red and yellow,
life saving, hot air balloon. I leaped in while launching the weights out of
the basket. I shot up in the air and looking down, I was surprised to see that
the police weren’t chasing after me. Gently swaying faraway, the loud sound of
helicopters filled the air. The balloon popped very loudly.
The fightening fall by Eva
High above
the cotton clouds I spied on the wonders around me. My muscular Dad with hair
as sharp as a nail point was with me. My Dad made sure the huge thing that kept
us up was not about to burn plus so it was steady.Looking down I was surprised
to see that we were in Japan there was the most humongous building...
Death's a Charm by Tina
I used to
love roaming the graveyard, the birds, the bugs, the surroundings. I would sit
for hours beside Violet, my best friend’s grave wishing that dad would care
about me, but of course he never will.
Violet is my
best friend, sometimes we’d chat all day about our thoughts and feelings, of
course I always done the talking.
My story
started when I was wandering around the soldiers, as I looked down I was
astounded to see a shimmery object hung on a grave. As I picked it up I saw
that it was a ring with an engraving on it. Just before I read it I turned to
Violets grave, that’s when she spoke to me.
“ Deaths a charm.”
The Birthday Trip by Mayeda
One autumn morning in Disney land Paris, it was my birthday! For
my birthday I got a trip to BALLOON WORLD! At balloon world we saw so many HOT
AIR BALLOONS! We all saw them heating up the balloons and cutting the rope for
lift off! We gave the man the ticket and headed towards a hot air balloon. (I
chose one that looked like an Egale souring through the sky!)We heated it up
and went inside. Then we finally cut the ropes and headed for lift off! Looking down I was surprised to see my house from a distance! It was so
beautiful! It felt like I was flying too.
A letter to Mum by Tanya
Dear Mum,
You might have realised that I’m not at
home I’m in a hot air balloon at the moment. I’m sorry I left home without you
knowing I am absolutely fine I’m not near home. I’m in Sydney in Australia
please don’t be mad. It is so gorgeous here at the minute I am above Sydney
Opera House it is remarkable. Looking down I was surprised to see the curves on
it and it’s surrounded by crystal white, shimmering water it looks like a kite.
Maybe I will take a picture of it.
Unopened Package by Millie S
One
day I, Elizabeth beckany, decided to face my fear of heights. But not
everything would go according to plan...
I
was 26 years old and had nothing. Then I got lucky. I went on a game show and won
a skydiving trip. 3,000 meters above the ground and an hour long flight up
there. As soon as I got home I realized there was one problem. I couldn’t go. I
would just make a fool of myself, in the end I was forced into it and before I
knew it I was on the fearful flight. And trembling, I leaped off the plane and
looking down, I was surprised to see a spectacular view of the grass glittering
in the fields and forests. It wasn’t that bad! But then the worst thing
possible happened. I realized I was carrying an unopened package instead of a
parachute. I lived a good life...
Hot Air Balloon by Jessica
“Can’t wait
to tell my friend that I’ve flown over France” I gasped. I glanced over many countries;
she’s going to be extremely jealous.
“Jessica it’s
time for school now I rapidly got my bag and belted down the stairs, I’m so
excited I can’t wait to see her face” Mum shouted” come on Jess we are going to
be late.”
“I shouted
down the stairs I’ll be there in a minute. Eventually I got to school rapidly,
I saw Maddie, I was surprised to see Spain and Digoin I went there once. She
was amazed.
The massive balloon by Kelly
One bright,
sunny day something appeared in the tranquil sky which seemed to be waving at
the animals on the farm. The cows looked and they wondered what it could be. As
the sheep were eating they also raised their heads in surprise to see what was
going on.
All of a
sudden it began to fall and landed with a bang! A small boy slowly crawled out
of the basket and he started crying. The
animals were shocked to see something making a horrible noise in their field.
All of them started to run away petrified!
Poverest’s Dramatic Draw
Poverest 3 - Leesons 3
Poverest were ready for a match on their home turf, Lessons won the toss and decided to kick off. Poverest had most off the possession for the first 10 minutes. And then a mistake in the lessons penalty box and Josh smashed it in the back of the net. Suddenly, out of nowhere, Lessons got an equalizer; the team was shocked. Poverest took centre, and Joseph got fouled so up stepped Emmanuel and placed down the ball and curved it in the back of the net! Soon the half time whistle went. Poverest had a huge team talk. Leesons weren’t giving up yet they pulled a goal out of nowhere. The final score was 3-3 after a last minute equaliser from Jack. We were relieved that we didn’t lose. And then we all shook hands and left the pitch.

The Weird Story by Joseph and Maison
One
baking hot day, at Thorpe Park there was an annoying orange, darting down the sidewalk
to go on the fabulous turtle ride. There
was an hour long queue, so he decided to waddle around. He saw a ride called
the cranium shaker, he jumped on it before he went back to the queue for the
exciting turtle ride. The queue was still 10 minutes. So he went for some funny bubble gum ice cream. Once he had
finished his ice cream, he went on the turtle ride. His mother was waving at him but as soon as he got to
the top SPLAT!
The Dismal Diaries of Ernie by Tina
What a miserable
day I’ve had!
After my
bland breakfast of oats, I went for a walk in the town where all of the Giants
were hurrying along the long, never ending pavement.
As I leisurely approached the side lane into the allotments, where I was
planning on having my lunch, a frantic toddler confronted me, waving its small podgy arms in the icy
wind. Avoiding the little creature I turned into the veggie patch as I wanted
to munch the crunchy orange carrots.
Missy by Millie W and Cydni
I was
dressed and ready for school. I got in the car and mum started to drive when
she saw a magpie; mum then told us not to look because it’s bad luck but I
looked any way and said “it’s just a saying.”
We arrived
at my school when I told my little brother Kenny to hurry up or I’d call him a turtle. Suddenly I tripped on the pavement not realizing my friends had
been waving. I walked into my brothers class to see my mum with an orange peel in her mouth!
“Funny!” said Kenny.
The Deadly Orange by Jafna
One cloudy day Evie Mist was getting
ready for school, “Hurry up Evie!” Shouted her mum, “I’m coming.” Replied Evie
galloping down the stairs. At school a gang of bullies were waiting for her on
the pavement. A while later the
school bell rang Evie was safe ...for a while. At lunch time they followed her
around the play ground they called her names like Evie no mates or funny Evie. Finally they left her
alone as the teacher came.
On her way home Evie found a forest
she’d never seen so she went in. In the middle there was an orange a funny orange. Evie laughed
Toitoise Land by Eva
Deep down
below the wistful blue sea a funny
orange blob with scaly legs, so strong it could carry its own shell, could
be seen in an underwater shop buying fried seafood. [If you couldn’t guess what the thing was it was a tortoise.] Anyway carrying on, swimming
gently over the massive city Mick the tortoise came to a stop.
The boy and the Tortoise by Mayeda and Georgina
It was Tuesday morning when I was
walking on the rough pavement. Then
I came across a funny looking Orange. So I weirdly waved at it and took it home. I put it
on the table and suddenly a head popped out of the Orange it was a tortoise! I told mummy and asked her if
we could keep it.
The Annoying Orange
One day there was a little tiny orange turtle and he met a minion and they became best buddies.
The next day they played a game called minion scoot and they
got there scooters out.
After that Jerry was being stupid then he got run over and
went to the hospital.
One Glorious Day by Heather
One glorious day, I happened to see a
strange, orange, Aardvark
He looked very jolly as he said to
his friend,
“Hello,” with a smile across his face
“fancy seeing you here.”
The cool, purple, tortoise waved to say hi
He ran swiftly along the pavement and gave Mr Aardvark a hug.
This seemed rather funny but I was
very confused!
They always seem to exaggerate how
slow they all are.
They went to the park,
They went to the shops,
They had lots of fun just playing around.
The Ghost by Kelly and Jessica
“Can I tell
you something?” Explained Susan.
“Can you
tell me?” Whispered Sally, the ghost.
“I was sitting there on my bed and fell
asleep.” Said Susan.
“Tell me
more” said the ghost.
“It was funny but scary at the same time I’m
scared to tell do you really want to know?” Said Susan.
“Yeah”
“Well this
is how it started” I was laying there and I pictured an orange on the table I picked up and munched it. Then I went for a
walk down the pavement , then I saw
a Tortiouse Then I saw my mum she waved at me!
The Darkness by Millie S
I am Amelia Gnut and this is not funny at all.
I had no family left. Nobody except my turtle Burt.
As they escorted me to my new family I
screamed,”NOOO! I will not go! I won’t leave them there alone!”
In the end I was forced into it because there was
nowhere else to go. I started living with the Orange family, but I wasn’t going to stay there for long. I escaped
that night, but as I ran along the pavement
something strange started to happen. I felt the trees stare at me, they whispered
in my ears.”Run...RUN AWAY!” I sprinted into the darkness of the woods and saw
Burt, cowering behind the bushes. I looked forward and I saw a girl, floating
in the air. She waved at me, her
head tilted to the side. Then she widened her mouth and...
