The boy and the Tortoise by Mayeda and Georgina


It was Tuesday morning when I was walking on the rough pavement. Then I came across a funny looking Orange. So I weirdly waved at it and took it home. I put it on the table and suddenly a head popped out of the Orange it was a tortoise! I told mummy and asked her if we could keep it.

    I wonder what your mum would say? A clever way to get all five words into a short story, well done.

    Next time show us you know how to punctuate speech by giving us your mother's repsonse.

    It was a doling hot sumers day when I was walking on the dumpy pavmant whan I came acrosa drit orange rit nexd to a thoney dush. So i waved at it like a rirdo and took it home I put it on the wadeley tabele and suddenly a head popped out of it! I told my mum and asked her if we coud keep it she said yes I was so hapey.
