Rembering WW1 by Cydni

In 1945 the First World War broke out between Germany and England. England was getting attacked by German bombers. Adults were told to leave their homes and get into their air raid shelters with their children. Homes were being blown down and there were England soldiers being blown apart as their families were evacuated to different countries. During the war millions of soldiers died.

And still today we remember those who were fighting in the war for England. That’s why we place poppies around the war memorials. My great –granddad died in the war.

  1. Well done Cydni a very clear account and good punctuation. Make sure you use lots of good adjectives in your next 100 WC.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about the wars Cyndi. You clearly know about the devastation the bombs caused. A couple of points - the first world war started in 1914. Sadly we had the second one in 1945. We just didn't learn.
