Cold Blood by Tina

It all started when Victoria and I were taking a stroll last Sunday.
Everything was fine until we came to the puddle blocking our way through the park. Victoria insisted we should just walk a different way but I wasn’t a coward, at least not until now! I pushed her onwards into the water. What I didn’t know was that beneath the cloudy surface of the puddle...there wasn’t a bottom!

After I’d realised what I had just done I started to panic. I heard sirens. I ran. The next thing I know, I’m sitting in a prison cell locked up for life.

  1. Great 100 word challenge Tina, good linking between paragraphs 'at least not until now' leading to being locked up at the end. Great use of punctuation as well.

  2. Great writing, Tina. Very inventive and well told with a nice style to your interesting sentences.
Some of your language is very gook, like stroll & insisted.
    Keep up the good work!
