Tango the pink Gorilla by Tina

Tango the pink gorrila

Once grand afternoon, Tango, the fuchsia pink gorilla, was swinging vine to vine in search of the sweetest yellowiest banana in the whole of the jungle. As Tango swung above the chimp kingdom, she dropped onto the floor to find the most incredible contraption she had ever seen!

Enthusiastically, she hopped onto it and went riding off into the jungle on the most, shiny red bicycle in the world.

Laughing hysterically with excitement, Tango rode off into the sunset to fulfil her life dream.

Two marvellous weeks later, she became world cycling champion in the Olympics and lived a happy banana packed life!

  1. Fantastic 100 WC Tina. Great word choices and a lovely story to include the five words. Well done.

  2. Hello Tina, what a gloriously happy story! Funny too, it did make me laugh. You use lots of happy words which make this story full of enthusiasm and joy.

The word 'yellowiest' doesn't actually exist but in the context it actually works because you wouldn't expect a gorilla to know the rules of grammar. It's also adds a charming dose of humour which you exploit but don't overdo by trying it twice.

I loved the bit about fulfilling her life dream by participating in the Olympics - that's a highly original and imaginative thing for a gorilla to do. The ending with the banana-packed life also made me laugh because it was such a typical gorilla thing to have after the very un-typical participation in the Olympics. Excellent contrast.

This is a very entertaining story. Keep up the fantastic imaginative work.
