In an in abandoned old
house children went to play in,
There lived a creepy monster who loved slaying,
If you dared to sneak inside the house,
He’d eat you up like a cat with a mouse!
He’d hide in the shed,
He’d fill you with dread,
He’ll gobble you up,
And put your eyeballs in a cup,
Twisted bones and bent back,
His hair black as black,
Trimmed of his baby fat,
Evil as one thousand rats,
Big as a bear,
He’ll give you quite a scare!
So if you ever see that shed you’d better hide under
your bed!
Excellent use of rhyme and similes Millie. Very interesting to use your words in a poem - very creative.
ReplyDeleteHello Millie,
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun poem! You have successfully described an old shed as the house of a scary monster. Good work. I especially enjoyed the part about him eating you up like a cat and a mouse, and the part about putting your eyeballs in a cup. It was easy to see to images in my mind.
I hope you continue to post to 100WC.
